Sentosa Travel....

In the middle of this holidays i went to sentosa mith my family and my relatives. I was very excited. The places there were totally changed. There are many places that brought my attention to. First we travel through the cable car. It vwas fun as it was a transparent cable car. After that we all took a bus and went to the sky tower. They said that we can see the whole of Sngapore. At first i thought it was not true but to my surprise it was. It brought us all the way to the top which was about 100m in height. I took pictures of eye-catching scenery of Singapore.

Then i went for the dolphine show. The dolphines there did alot of stunts that really amazed me. After the dolphine show, we all pay a visit to the underwater world. I learned about the different types of sea creatures in the sea. There was also a stingray section where we can touch them. I dared myself to touch the top of the body part. It was very smooth and nice to touch. This was the first time touching a stingray. Then we went to the beach there to feel the fresh air. My uncle, dad, my couzins and i went to swim in the beach. I really enjoyed at that point of time. We went to the best resturant to eat. It was really good. After eating i when to the sky rider where we can sit on bench and there was just a bar in front of us to prevent us from falling and this ride wiil bring us to the the top above 60m in height which gave me a thrill but it was fun too.

DurinG ThE FirsT WeeK Of Holiday$

During this june holidays, the first week of it i had my NCC Spec course camp. It was a 4 day camp. This camp is for us to do well in drills and in everything so that we can get a third or second sergent rank. Four days was qiute a lot. during this time the time went very slow. I got worried because i need to be away from my parents. I was eagerly waiting for the camp to finish but coincedently i sprained my hand on the first day itself and the sirs told me that i need to be sent home because i cannot carry the rifle. They told me to come for phase 3. At that point of time i felt very happy that i was going home. when i was on my way back i felt a bit worried because i did not complete the camp and i cannot get sergant rank.

This was a oppurtunity to go to the mother tounge camp. I really learned about my culture in depth. It was not only the indian culture but the malay and chinese cultures too. We got to wear the sarong , make currypuff, and many more things.i really enjoyed the camp alot especially the food. It was superb. I love the part where we were challenge to speak in malay and chinese. That was very fun. I will not forget this camp.

Reflection on video...

Last week, my teacher played a video of Singaporeans who go overseas to work and about their life there. It also tells about their commitment of Singapore even though living there for many years. As for me, a Singaporean I will always want to live in Singapore and contribute my best. In the video some of them live in foreign countries but still have a sense of belonging to Singapore. Some of the men who belong to Singapore and are in foreign countries come over to Singapore to do national service. This shows that they still respect their country, they are very loyal to the country as even when some of the Singaporean men do not wish to do the national service but some Singaporeans in overseas are willing to come back. This shows how committed they are. If all Singaporeans are as good as those, Singapore’s military power would be as good as the other countries.

Reflections on the Career Fair

The career fair exhibition was held in the Sunteccity. The exhibition place was very enormous. We can see almost all the careers that you wanted to refer to. It was very fascinating as we could find out about different types of jobs. Three jobs that i was looking for, which is my ambitious too, are chemical engineering, software engineering and pilot. The reasons for choosing these three career choices because they are very unique and especially software engineering. Because this includes creating of animations. What so unique about this job is that you can create your own video games . Not only that the salary is very high than you expect. For example if you create a video itself you could get over $30 000. If the game gets approved you could even start selling it. Isn't believable? Thats the truth. The pilot job is not actually suitable for me as to be a pilot we need to have good eye sight but i anm wearing glasses as my eye sight is not good. I found this information on the pilot section. We also need to learn physics to learn the altitude of the air and many more, but i hope that i would have the chance to enter the pilot career in the future.
